Program Notes
Rhapsodic Reflections, structured as a fantasia, was composed over a span of four days of a busy semester in my junior year of undergrad. The swift creation process contributes to the spontaneous and organic feel of the music, inviting listeners into a world of introspection and exhilarating musical exploration. The music offers interpretive freedom and is akin to a vocalize. Rhapsodic Reflections, therefore, becomes a dynamic and living entity, continually reshaped and reimagined through each rendition.
